Continuous Vaults

Hi Pro Intl.'s line of Wide and Narrow Continuous Vaults can be designed to
fit a variety of sizes and configurations. Hi Pro's Vaults can be either Single or Double
glazed, and can have either a Domed or Segmented end. Our Low Rise Narrow
Vaults can span up to 8' wide and our Low Rise Wide Vaults can span up to 20'.

Skylights are efficient lighting devices, bringing in much more light than comparably sized
windows. Horizontal illumination is about twice the illumination of an average vertical surface. Skylights allow for a freedom of design not possible with use of sidewall windows
as a light source.

Daylight admitted by skylights can fill otherwise dark corners, hallways, and interior rooms
with free natural daylight. Also, since skylights are overhead and not in your field of vision,
there is no direct glare.

Full spectrum natural lighting from skylights means natural interior color
rendition not found with artificial light. Natural lighting also offers important psychological
and Physiological benefits. Skylights can open up your living space for an expanded feeling of spaciousness and freedom while still preserving your privacy. In addition, plants will thrive
in a room filled with a full spectrum of natural light.

Clear acrylic skylights will allow approximately 92%  of the visible light to
be transmitted and 85% of the solar energy. This results in a shaft of light passing through
the skylight, whereas a standard white translucent dome allows approximately 50%
of the daylight to pass through, however, the light is diffused and spread evenly in the room
below.

The solar control series of bronze and gray acrylic allows you to select the degree of light
and energy transmittance to fit each application.
