Modular Skylights

Whether it be a Modular Cluster System of Pyramids or Domes, a Cluster System of
Skylights is a practical and economical approach to covering spaces of almost any size
or shape. Design Flexibility is maximized while the construction itself
is of standard elements.

Skylights are efficient lighting devices, bringing in much more light than comparably sized
windows. Horizontal illumination is about twice the illumination of an average vertical surface. Skylights allow for a freedom of design not possible with use of sidewall windows
as a light source.

Clear acrylic skylights will allow approximately 92%  of the visible light to
be transmitted and 85% of the solar energy. This results in a shaft of light passing through
the skylight, whereas a standard white translucent dome allows approximately 50%
of the daylight to pass through, however, the light is diffused and spread evenly in the room
below.

The solar control series of bronze and gray acrylic allows you to select the degree of light
and energy transmittance to fit each application.
