And Fire Vents
When Smoke and Fire Vents are
needed, for either old buildings or new, life and property are
at stake. It is vitally important that the architect/Specifier and the owner are
aware of the distinct advantages of operable Fire and Smoke vents.
All of Hi Pro Intl.'s line of Thermal Safety Vents
can be equipped for a Manual Release
opening in addition to the Automatic
Release function for which they are designed.
As is the case with many larger
buildings,
the only way for
fireman to reach the flames is from the roof of the building.
When seconds count ,
the manual release of an operable vent takes much less time than the Forced
Removal of a fixed
roof section. Further, there is less risk to Fire Department personnel involved.
Operable Fire and Smoke Vents can be
opened during or after the Emergency
to aid in ventilation and Smoke removal.
